The construction of ZCK – the metropolitan railway station between Młyńska and Gazowa streets – is the largest investment of the Lublin local government, which is to be ready by the end of July 2022. The value of the construction contract is over PLN 231 million. Mostostal Kraków will deliver and install over 2,000 tonnes of steel structure for the Main Contractor – Budimex SA.

The main element of the investment is the roofing of the station with a structural cover and the roofing of the platforms, which will be used by city buses, extra-city buses and long-distance buses. The project is distinguished by the original pillars – “trees”. The construction of the pillars simultaneously fulfils a decorative function through elements inspired by folk cut-outs. The investment of the Lublin Municipality is an example of the most modern transport solution – not only in Poland, but also in Europe.
