In connection with the development strategy adopted by the Company for the coming years, the planned expansion of its portfolio and changes in its organisational structure, the Management Board and Supervisory Board of Mostostal Kraków appointed three new members of the Management Board: Kacper Jaskot, Paweł Śmigla and Tomasz Guzik. Until now, the Management Board of the company belonging to Budimex Group has been represented by President of the Management Board Jacek Lech (CEO) and Member of the Management Board Jakub Tomaszewski (CFO). The change came into effect as of 20 January 2022.
Kacper Jaskot is a graduate of the Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering. He completed the prestigious international development programmes Global Management Program (ESADE Business School). He has been with Mostostal Kraków since 2006, where he started as Construction Engineer. His career in the Budimex Group shows that Kacper has gone through the entire development path, being promoted successively to Site Manager, Project Manager and, since 2018, Chief of Construction Division. As a Member of the Management Board, he will continue to manage the Construction Division in the area of delivery and erection of steel structures, as well as the production area of the Steel Structure Factories.
Paweł Śmigla graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. He started his career in the Budimex Group in 2010 as a Legal Advisor, then became the Head of the Legal Office at Mostostal Krakow. Since 2018, he has been responsible for the commercial, valuation and design and technical department in the position of Commercial Division Director. Since 2019, he has been acting as a Proxy of the Company. As a Member of the Management Board, he will continue to be responsible for the Commercial Division, the structures of which also include the Legal Department.
Tomasz Guzik is a graduate of the Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, majoring in Construction. He has been working for the Budimex Group since November 2004. He started his career at Budimex Dromex as Assistant Site Manager, later on as Site Engineer and Works Manager. For less than a year, he worked for Ferrovial Agroman S.A. as Production Manager. From 2008 to 2020, he gained experience at Budimex in the positions of: Valuation Specialist, Site Manager and then Project Manager. As of January 2021, he is the Director of the Contracts Team at Mostostal Kraków. As a Member of the Board he will be responsible for the Industrial Construction Division.
The decision to enlarge the Management Board is a natural continuation of Mostostal Krakow’s planned growth and the implementation of its development directions. The Company’s mission is to support its clients in demanding construction investments by providing tailored solutions. The strategy for the years 2022-2024 is related to the current activities and also assumes business diversification. The Company plans to increase the scale of operations in the domestic market and in foreign markets, while increasing the production potential. To its current portfolio of services: construction and erection works, prefabrication and supply of steel structures for the most important sectors of industrial construction, energy, cement and lime, metallurgy, chemicals, bridges and gas transmission, it plans to expand its services to industrial clients, as well as to manage the trends of energy transition.
